Mission Statement

The purpose for this website is to help students learn important math concepts efficiently and effectively. The site is also currently being developing as a small business with a substantial amount of time being dedicated to this project each week with the primary focus being working with schools to develop problem sets for their students. These problem sets help students excel in their classes, prepare for standardized tests or college, and ultimately make informed decisions in the real world. The process that is being developing to work with schools is also further described on the Contact Us page that can be found via the site's main menu.

Traffic from Different Geographical Regions Worldwide

Overall, the value of this site is that showing problem set based content via webpages makes this content accessible to students from around the world. As can be seen from the world map image to the right, this site has been visited from individuals from over forty different countries so far in 2026. The top country overall has been the United States so far, but the next four most visited countries are all from Asia. Since around 1.5 billion people in the world speak English, it is expected that the utility of this site would not be limited to a particular geographical region, but that it would instead be helpful to individuals worldwide. Currently, this site does not incorporate artificial intelligence or the most cutting edge internet technologies, but we do think that it is technically robust enough to serve its purpose.

Partnering with School Districts to Provide Valuable Math Content

Further, we hope to be able to partner with schools who would essentially distribute our math content to students as a quality mathematics resource. The site can currently generate millions of different math problems, and as we make more problem sets, the site's capabilities will continue to increase. The site is also not limited in terms of a few particular math subjects, but it is instead designed to generate math problems for a number of different disciplines, including arithmetic, algebra, and calculus to name a few, with not only K-12 students but also college and adult students as visitors. In terms of the time that is currently being dedicated to the development of this site, a concentration is currently being placed on business strategy efforts for further developing the site. The contact form from the Contact Us page is actively monitored so that any message from a school employee is thus an opportunity to start a conversation about a project to develop custom problem sets for that school. We are also currently invested in paying for advertising via well known search engines with the goal of teachers being sent to our site, and more specifically, the contact form, so that they can message us to start a collaboration. Building a Business around a Math EdTech Computer Program

When I first developed Math Tutor Pro, LLC in 2021, I did not have a business model in mind for the site. I knew that websites were extremely scalable as a technology platform, but I did not know who to contact first. In terms of business operations, I had the idea to call school districts in Pennsylvania (USA) that were within a driving distance of me so that if they expressed interest in working with my small business, I would be able to visit their school to talk with teacher and administrations at one of their school district's buildings. While I was able to start some conversations with teachers and information technology professionals from the schools, there weren't any substantial developments. I first worked on my first project with Penn State York in 2022 after I applied to their York LaunchBox program, and that collaboration is discussed in more detail via the Contact Us page. This project gave the site some traction as a business, but there was still not any revenue. As I'm now renovating the website in 2026 with the goal of generating revenue by working with school districts projects, I think that I'm closer than ever before to enabling the site to become a profitable business endeavor.

Envisioning the Site being used in a Classroom Setting

As each problem set is being developed to have its own unique URL, this link could be provided directly to students in order for them to use the internet to arrive at the problem set of interest with one click. Overall, many students can find it challenging to use the problem set's graphical user interface so it can be helpful if a teacher is present to provide useful advice and math coaching. I hope to ultimately find the time to speak more with teachers and educators who use content from the site in their classes in order to optimize how content is shown on the site in order to ultimately help more students learn important math concepts.

Ultimately Broadening Business Operations into additional Profitable Math Tutoring Activities

As being featured in the BestStartUp news article made me think more about how to build business revenue, I started brainstorming and generated a list of ideas. I believe that the best idea was selling math tutoring zoom calls directly to students. I've made some progress with scheduling calls with students, but there is the challenging of irregular timing and finding the right topics to talk about on tutoring calls given that math courses tend to cover a vast array of different types of math problems. I would eventually like to start scheduling additional math tutoring calls with students, but I think that working with school districts is the best path forwards for now for Math Tutor Pro, LLC as a business. There are also additional topics, such as public speaking at schools, selling merchandise, and advertising revenue. The details of whether or not these opportunities will be explored is still to be determined.

CourseMethod Featured Us in our First News Article

The problem sets platform technology featured on this website was first developed in 2021. I thought that it was important to make a math computer program that would provide an instant evaluation of student's answers to math problems yet also provide additional encouragement and advice - this is why I added the Hint and Like features to the problem sets. When I first messaged with Coursemethod, I did my best to explain this during the interview process. Since I taught math and science courses from 2021 to 2023 before returning to an engineering career path, there was not much development of the site from 2023 to 2026. I do think that those early years, however, set the stage for me to make additional progress in the present to continue to help students learn important math topics.

Large EdTech Companies haven't yet solved all of the Math Education Problems

A significant amount of funding has recently been available to website-based EdTech companies. As such, many companies have been able to develop a significant amount of content. However, mathematics is such a broad and expansive field that it's impossible to host content on every topic. Also, each company has their own type of format for hosting content on a website. I think that different types of EdTech can help students as each student has their own unique learning style. Additionally, I think that reading news articles that are published about how well students are performing on standardized math tests is telling in the sense that these articles show that the scores are unequivocally declining with time.

Allowing Students to re-focus on high-priority Math Content is an Important Goal

The modern-day classroom contains significant distractions. Aside from smartphones, laptop computers, and other relatively new technology, schools are struggling with a host of different challenges. We think that helping students re-focus on the most important math topics is critical to ultimately improving these student's test scores. A lot of these topics are not particularly complicated; there is just a lot of different topics. Even in the K-12 education system, students are expected to become proficient at Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, Probability, and Calculus. Especially in classrooms where students may not have access to the optimal textbooks for all of these math courses, website-based content can make this type of content readily available to much of the world. Ultimately, the math teachers who are directly working with students in the classroom know what types of math content will be most helpful to students, and that's why we’re hoping to partner with additional schools to work directly with them to make them problem sets for their students.
